Yesturday, the NFL 2006 season began with the defending champions, the Pittsburgh Steelers, playing against the Miami Dolphins. The Steelers were first to score in the 2nd quarter 15th minute. A pass from Charlie Batch to Nate Washington. The Dolphins tied it up in the 2nd quarter 6:03 when Ronnie Brown rushed 2 yards for the touchdown. The Steelers scored again in the 2nd quarter with 1:56. A Pass from Charlie Batch to MVP Hines Ward. The Dolphins then completed a 26 yard field goal in the 2nd quarter with :40 remaining. This ended the first half.

In the second half, Ronnie Brown rushed 5 yards for a Dolphin TD in the 3rd quarter giving the Dolphins the lead. The Steelers then scored with a pass from Charlie Batch to Heath Miller for a TD to give the Steelers the lead in the 4th with 6:25 to go. The Steelers then scored again with Duante Culpepper throwing an interception to Joey Porter for a TD in the 4th with 3:09 to go.
